Airoptix is at the forefront of integrating drones/RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft System) into environmental management. We use a range of cutting edge drones to survey and capture aerial imagery of an environment, then we pump it all through our software and transform the data into a powerful tool for land management.
Environmental Surveying for Mining and Agriculture
Our aerial surveying produces digital 3D models, orthomosiac, DTM's, and vegetation maps in a range of outputs that can be plugged straight into any GIS or AutoCAD software. We can also perform volumetric measurements for cut and fill purposes, and 4k high definition aerial video.
Multiple outputs for GIS and AutoCAD
In Australia, CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) regulates all commercial RPAS/drone operations. If you want to fly a drone to earn money, you need to obtain your Remote Pilot License (RePL) through a CASA certified instructor. Airoptix is a licensed instructor to teach the RePL course, and has regular courses commencing each month. Get in touch to find out when the next one's starting.
